Artistic and cultural education residency in Bourg d'Oisans: second part

Remember, last June, we told you about the first stages of the artistic and cultural residency in Bourg d'Oisans (38), in connection with the performance of our installation-show D'Arbre en Arbre, which took place on June 14, 2025, at the Théâtre de verdure.

We therefore returned to Bourg d'Oisans (as part of the Centenary of the International Exhibition of White Coal and Tourism in Oisans) for the second part of this initiative, a few days before the performance. The schedule was punctuated by the presence of the D'Arbre en Arbre team, meetings with local residents, and the Résonances project.

The various groups of residents were able to participate in collective listening sessions of the soundtrack created during the first part of the project in May 2025, and Patrick Singh, a painter involved in D'Arbre en Arbre, led a workshop on drawing (with the Maison du département).

Each session and workshop was accompanied by a visit to the site where D’Arbre en Arbre was created and a meeting with the team. And of course, everyone was invited to the evening performance on June 14, 2025, to discover the installation-show!

In the Bourg d'Oisans area, this outreach initiative revealed a valuable collective energy, bringing together different generations and different audience practices!

A tree, they say, never grows alone.

And here we saw how art can help common roots grow.

This project was part of a CTEAC (Regional Committee for Artistic and Cultural Education) residency carried out with the Oisans Community of Municipalities, in partnership with the Abel Maurice nursing home, the Charmilles residence, the recreation center, the youth services department, the ONF, the Maison du département, and with the support of the DRAC, the Region, the Department, and the CAF of Isère.
