Artistic director: Nadine Guinefoleau Coordination: Armelle Chenu

Writing workshops to bring words to life, including local words, with poet-musician Denis Péan.

Plastic workshops to help words travel in the light of our flames, led by visual artist Armelle Chenu, assisted by Olivier Vérone.

Presence and movement workshops to harmonise the movement of the Spokespeople, taking ownership of the word, the space, wearing it and asserting it. Workshops led by actor Ilijana Vukmir Damour.

Photographer Kalimba is an integral part of the project, present throughout. His photographic portraits sketch out a memory of the spokespeople, as well as a poetic cartography of the area.

Eventually, this will form a ‘community’ of Porteurs de Paroles. Why not one day invite them all to write the longest poem in the world?
